Success confirms what not bounce home

success-confirms-what-not-bounce-home

Success is not “form sent” or a bounce to home — visible confirmation of what went through (repeat in mail or “Mijn omgeving”). Dual-cite empty/failure success copy; NL names bounce-home as fail.

Description

Success is not only “form sent” and not a bounce to home. Show visible confirmation of what went through—on-page and/or in mail or “Mijn omgeving”—so the person can trust the outcome. A send-only message or home bounce leaves them unsure what was submitted. Fail if success is only “form sent”, or the person is bounced home with no confirmation of what went through. Apply to the post-submit success state after a form send.

When to use

Designing the post-submit success state after a form send.

Not when

Not for mid-flow saves that are not the final success confirmation.

Agent hint

Show what went through on-page or in mail; avoid sent-only or bounce-home success.

Pass

After send, the person sees what was submitted (on-page and/or in mail / “Mijn omgeving”), not only “sent”.

Fail

Success is only “form sent”, or the person is bounced to home with no confirmation of what went through.
