Conversation vs navigation order

conversation-vs-navigation-order

Conversation: ask for the needed/desired action, then present risks. Navigation: Back on the left (previous step). Less important actions go right or bottom. Collapsed overflow content stays on the right.

Description

In Ant’s conversation pattern, ask for the needed or desired action, then present risks. In navigation, Back stays on the left for the previous step; less important actions and collapsed overflow sit right or bottom. Risks-first conversation order, Back off the left, or overflow collapsed leftward fight that guidance. Follow it on Ant button layouts; other platforms may prescribe different order.

When to use

Ordering actions in conversation dialogs or step navigation footers.

Not when

Platforms that mandate a different Back or commit order than Ant cites.

Agent hint

Ask desired action before risks; put Back left; park overflow right/bottom.

Pass

Conversation order is desired action then risks. Navigation has Back on the left. Less important / overflow sit right or bottom as cited.

Fail

Risks before the needed action in a conversation pattern; Back not on the left in navigation; overflow collapsed to the left.
