Date of birth fields use autocomplete tokens `bday-day` / `bday-month` / `bday-year`.
Description
Date-of-birth day, month, and year fields need the matching autocomplete tokens `bday-day`, `bday-month`, and `bday-year` so browsers and password managers can fill them correctly. Those tokens are specific to DOB segments, not a generic autocomplete value. Missing or wrong tokens force retyping and break familiar autofill. Fail if DOB segments omit those tokens or use a generic autocomplete instead. Apply whenever you build segmented day/month/year inputs for date of birth.
When to use
Building day, month, and year inputs for date of birth.
Not when
Not for non-DOB dates, or single free-text date fields without segments.
Agent hint
Set autocomplete to bday-day, bday-month, and bday-year on DOB segments.
