Consistent not uniform

consistent-not-uniform

Consistent, not uniform — same behaviour for common components; services may apply their own colour, type, sub-logo, and flows without disrupting the shared default.

Description

Consistent, not uniform — same behaviour for common components; services may apply their own colour, type, sub-logo, and flows without disrupting the shared default. Pass when shared components keep the same behaviour and service visual or flow differences do not change that default; fail when a service restyles a common control so its behaviour no longer matches the shared default. Behaviour stays aligned; surface branding may differ.

When to use

Services restyle shared GOLD components across products.

Not when

Demanding identical colour and type across every service.

Agent hint

Preserve shared default behaviour; allow service colour/type/sub-logo/flow variation.

Pass

Shared components keep the same behaviour; service colour/type/sub-logo/flow differences do not change that default behaviour.

Fail

A service restyles a common control so its behaviour no longer matches the shared default.
