A Canada.ca supertask button appears once and launches the page’s main task (apply, calculator, wizard). Never use it for promotion — use feature patterns instead. Keep primary at most one per page (dual-cite Actions). Link-style buttons cover infrequent actions (restart calculator) with a larger hit area than a text link. Danger only when consequences are real. Fail two supertasks, promo-as-supertask, two primaries, or danger without real consequences.
When to use
Placing the main apply, calculator, or wizard launch on a Canada.ca page.
Not when
Feature/promo patterns — those are not the supertask control.
