Stop accidental double submit.
Description
Once a submit request has started, a second press must not send a duplicate. Protect people from accidental double submit on the primary action, especially on slower networks where they may press again. Blocking duplicate submits after the request starts prevents repeated side effects. Fail if repeated presses queue duplicate submits. Apply when wiring primary submit buttons that start a network request.
When to use
Wiring primary submit buttons that start a network request.
Not when
Not for idempotent local UI toggles that do not submit a form.
